The Clerk to report to the Council on the statement from Audit Wales (Hacker Young, Chartered Accountants) with regard to the audit recently undertaken on the Council’s Accounts 2007-08. Please see below.

1. A clean report was received.

2. The Council should adopt Standing Orders (see attached)

3. Councillors, in compliance with the Adopted Members Code of Conduct, must register the Declarations of Interest (see attached Register).

4. Written evidence of the Internal Auditor’s independence should be obtained.
